Training: Council General to hold a workshop for National Presidents

09/06/2023

The workshop will present strategies to improve the action of the Superior Councils.

Taking advantage of the presence of the national presidents who will be in Rome to attend the General Assembly, the Council General International will hold a workshop exclusively for them.

The event will take place on June 16 and 17, after the General Assembly. The theme of the workshop will be “Strategies to improve our service to our friends in need”.

On June 16, the subjects presented will be “Spirituality and Formation” (Father Andrés Motto and sister Marisa Téllez) and “Governance, Transparency and Safeguarding” (sisters Claire Victory and Elaine Heyworth).

On June 17, the discussions will revolve around two themes: “Youth, Recruitment and Revitalization” (brother Willian Alves) and “Strengthening solidarity to face new poverties” (brother Ralph Middlecamp).

At the end of each day, the national presidents will be able to review the issues presented, discuss strategies, and propose improvements and suggestions. “The exchange of experiences will be the enrichment of this training course. That is why we are sure of the success of this initiative”, said the President General, brother Renato Lima de Oliveira.

All events will be broadcast live on Ozanam TV
