Sri Lankan presidential elections and meeting with the Archbishop of Dhaka-Bangladesh
Brother Johnson Varghese, International Territorial Vice President – Asia I (ITVP-Asia 1), visited recently the Superior Councils of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
At the end of October 2022, brother Varghese was invited to participate at the National Assembly of Sri Lanka, which was meeting for the first time after the pandemic and brought together more than 150 Vincentians from several regions where conferences are active.
At the end of November 2022, brother Varguese visited Bangladesh to discuss important issues linked to the functioning of the SSVP in that country. He also met with the Archbishop of Dhaka, His Excellency Bejoy N D’Cruze. A very successful meeting in which he was accompanied brothers Joseph Pandian, International Vice President General and brother Gabriel Mondel, representative of the Territorial Vice Presidency Asia I for micro-projects.
