Happy SSVP International Women's day!
On August 14th, we mark the birth of Amélie Soulacroix Ozanam, the beloved wife of Antoine-Frédéric Ozanam . She was the central person for the vincentians to get more knowledge about the life of the Founder of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and the first steps of our Society.
The 16th General President, Bro. Renato Lima de Oliveira, taken the opportunity to declare August 14th as the INTERNATIONAL SSVP WOMEN’S DAY. In India we have nearly Twenty thousand active lady members who are so active to serve the poor and needy and play a major role in the Charity work of SSVP.
